RADICAL METADATA SUMMIT in NYC

I have had the time of my life at the Radical Metadata Summit, hosted by TL Cowan at NYU and organised by James Ascher. We spent the day brainstorming foundational archival issues related to the politics of description. In the next few weeks (or months, depending) we will be putting out a collaboratively written inquiry addressing the questions we deem most important at this particular juncture of the archive, located between ideals of technology and ontologies.

This is invaluable to my work with Archinodes, as we are constantly debating and strategizing on ways to put technology at the service of ideas. In DC next week, Archinodes will continue these explorations.
