Our Life Stories Montreal posters are finally up in the metro stations and cars of Montréal! They look especially vibrant in the huge format backlit boxes on the metro platforms (at Berri-UQAM and Lionel-Groux), but I mostly enjoyed sneaking around taking photos of the posters just blending in to everyone's commute, in the metro cars. It's been such an incredible pleasure to work with eagle-eye Gracia, and Nick and Eve-Lyne. Really looking forward to the event!
Check out all the posters on the LSM site.
Event info:
Based at Concordia University, the Life Stories of Montrealers Displaced by War, Genocide, and other Human Rights Violations (Montréal Life Stories), is a community-university research alliance which has involved a team of more than 150 people and 18 partner organizations.
The objective of this five-year long project has been to collect and disseminate the interviews of 500 Montrealers who have found a new home in Montreal.
To pay tribute to these interviews, we have organized the Montreal Life Stories Rencontres, which will take place at various locations throughout the city of Montreal during the month of March 2012. The Rencontres will include: an international academic conference, a press conference, exhibitions, a multimedia installation, round table discussions, various artistic displays and performances and workshops.
